Fredericksburg Virginia, is offering you a Scrapbooking weekend Retreat August 20-22nd, 2010. 3 days in the comfort of Wingate Wyndham Hotel directly off I95 in Fredericksburg, VA.
The cost of this 3 day event is $125 with around the clock scrap time. Our weekend Retreats was designed especially for scrapbookers and stampers.
Have you ever walked into a place and felt like you have just entered a whole different world?
When you walk into the Virginia Scrapbook Retreat it feels like you have entered a whole different world! A place where you can relax and just be yourself. A heaven sent event! A place where you totally lose track of time and what is going on in the outside world, You have so much fun you totally forget about all of the chores that need to be done and phone calls that need returned. Creativity abounds, inspiration is all around and friends gather to relax and just have fun!
We take care of all of the chores and do not forget any details. From providing a clean resort to and giving you a nice hotel room so you can relax in the late evening after a long day/night of scrapbooking. The idea behind the Scrapbook Retreats at Virginia Scrapbook Retreats is to crop ‘till ya drop and be pampered so that you can go back into the “real world” refreshed!
The weekends are designed as a place for women to get away from the “real world” and have uninterrupted time to work on their scrapbooks and spend time with friends, as well as make new friends! The weekends are unstructured time for ladies to be comfortable and scrapbook or craft, you can even stay in your pajamas all day if you wish! Leave your watch at home because we will take care of meals, sleeping and cleaning for you! No worries at the retreats!!
The focus of the scrapbooking weekend is of course the creating keepsakes of your memories. Large 6′ tables are provided, with plenty of room for you to set up all of your scrapbook supplies and have plenty of room to scrap. Each attendee brings her own supplies and everyone loves to share. scrapbook supplies, including a large selection of paper adhesives and embellishments are also available for sale from various scrapbooking vendors on site.

Love making cards and scrapbook pages but tired of the cost of supplies? Looking for new and original ways to express your own individual style with all those paper supples that you alread have? Then the Quilt – Scrapbook – Papercraft Retreat Getaway Weekend is for you.
Come join the quilters for their Retreat Getaway Weekend sponsored by Quilts by Barb at the Baymont Inn and Suites Convention Center located in Belmont, Wisconsin, just four miles from Platteville, Wisconsin. There will be room for scrapbookers, card makers and quilters to share ideas and enthusiasm for the things they love to do, as this event will be in conjunction with the 8th annual Quilt Retreat Getaway Weekend sponsored by Quilts by Barb. Who knows? We may even find some things to do with all those beautiful leftover scraps of fabric!
The Quilt – Papercraft – Scrapbooking Retreat Getaway Weekend will be held Friday through Sunday, November 12, 13 and 14, 2010, with an optional extra day on Monday, November 15, 2010.
We will be featuring an array of creative projects to pick and choose from, as well as plenty of time to work on projects of your own.
Projects will include:
- handmade books that can be used as photo albums or srap books
- handmade cards and creative packaging ideas for giving them as gifts
- templates and instructions for making gift bags, boxes and photo/music CD cases
- rubber stamp carving
Information willl be presented on photo editing/altering, printing your own papers, using materials you won’t find in a scrapbook store, and much, much more. There’ll be plenty of time for you to share your own creative ideas as well.

Fleetwood, PA All-day Scrapbooking Event ~ May 22, 2010 ~ 9 am to 9 pm. The Richmond Elementary PTA invites you to an all-day scrapbooking event, May 22, 2010 at the Fleetwood Grange on Rte 662 in Fleetwood, PA.
Attention all Berks County Scrapbookers and Lehigh Valley Scrapbookers! Grab your fellow scrapbooking friends and spend the day together catching up while you scrapbook. The cost to register for this All-day Scrapbooking Event is $40. The proceeds of this event will benefit the Richmond Elementary School in Fleetwood, PA. The registration fee includes all three meals for the day, plus beverages and snacks, spacious work areas to get your scrapbooking projects done, great door prizes and fun goody bags. We will also hold a Chinese Auction the day of the event with items such as amusement park tickets, restaurant and store gift cards, gift certificates from several local services, gifts from many local businesses, scrapbooking supplies, and more!
If you bring a breakfast or snack item to share you will receive 5 free tickets to use in the Chinese auction.
Representatives from Creative Memories, Scraptacular, Close to my Heart and Two Cats Paper Products will be on hand the day of the event to help you with all of your scrapbooking needs. We invite you to take a look at their products ahead of time to see if there is anything that you would like to pre-order so that it is on hand the day of the event!
