Belmont Wisconsin Quilt Papercraft Scrapbook Retreat Getaway Weekend hosted by Quilt by Barb, November 12, 13 and 14, 2010

Love making cards and scrapbook pages but tired of the cost of supplies?  Looking for new and original ways to express your own individual style with all those paper supples that you alread have?  Then the Quilt – Scrapbook – Papercraft Retreat Getaway Weekend is for you.

Come join the quilters for their Retreat Getaway Weekend sponsored by Quilts by Barb at the Baymont Inn and Suites Convention Center located in Belmont, Wisconsin, just four miles from Platteville, Wisconsin.  There will be room for scrapbookers, card makers and quilters to share ideas and enthusiasm for the things they love to do, as this event will be in conjunction with the 8th annual Quilt Retreat Getaway Weekend sponsored by Quilts by Barb.  Who knows?  We may even find some things to do with all those  beautiful leftover scraps of fabric!

The Quilt – Papercraft – Scrapbooking Retreat Getaway Weekend will be held Friday through Sunday, November 12, 13 and 14, 2010, with an optional extra day on Monday, November 15, 2010.

We will be featuring an array of creative projects to pick and choose from, as well as plenty of time to work on projects of your own.

Projects will include:

• handmade books that can be used as photo albums or srap books
• handmade cards and creative packaging ideas for giving them as gifts
• templates and instructions for making gift  bags, boxes and photo/music CD cases
• rubber stamp carving

Information willl be presented on photo editing/altering, printing your own papers, using materials you won’t find in a scrapbook store, and much, much more.  There’ll be plenty of time for you to share your own creative ideas as well.
